Just like a budding flower needs nutrients and sunshine to grow, children need encouragement and life experiences to blossom into young adults.
Launched in February 2001, thanks in large part to a generous donation from the Weinstock family, Project Blossom is designed to remove the
financial barrier so that children may participate in extra-curricular activities that promote self esteem, leadership skills and interpersonal relationships.
Whether it be through sports, music, dance, field trips or other means, the GMF sponsors children by paying their registration/admission fees and purchasing
all the necessary equipment so that they have the opportunity to explore and discover their inner talents.
We believe that every child should have the same opportunities and access to the many experiences life has to offer. These life-experiences
are the nourishment and the sunshine these children need to blossom into beautiful, well-rounded, responsible individuals.
